Privacy policy
This policy explains how Compassion Waves Partnership looks after the personal information you share with us through this website. We have tried to keep it plain and clear. Last updated 28 October 2026.
Who we are
Compassion Waves Partnership is run by Joanna Roberts, who is responsible for your personal information (the “data controller”). You can contact Joanna at joanna@compassionwaves.co.uk or on 07565 351786.
What we collect
When you use the Book a free call form, we ask for:
- your name and email address
- your phone number, if you choose to give it
- whether you would prefer an online or a phone call
- anything you choose to tell us in the message box
What you write in the message box is up to you. It may include details about your loss or how you are feeling, which can be sensitive, and we treat it with care. You do not have to share anything you do not want to. If you email or phone us instead, we keep what you send us in the same way.
How we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry and to arrange a free call with you. If we go on to work together, we use them to arrange and deliver your coaching. We do not sell your information, we do not use it for advertising, and we only contact you about your enquiry or your coaching.
Our legal basis
We reply to you because you have asked us to, and by ticking the box on the form you agree to us using your details for that purpose. Where you share information about your health or wellbeing, we rely on your explicit consent to use it. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us.
Where your enquiry goes
This website does not keep a database of enquiries. When you send the form, it is delivered as an email to Joanna’s inbox. To do this we use trusted providers who handle your information on our behalf:
- Resend, which sends the email from the website
- Vercel, which hosts the website
- our email provider, which holds the email once it reaches us
Some of these providers process information outside the UK. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards so that your information stays protected.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use cookies and we do not use advertising or tracking tools. We use Vercel Web Analytics to see, in general terms, how many people visit and which pages they read. It does not use cookies and does not build a profile of you.
How long we keep it
If we do not go on to work together, we delete your enquiry within 12 months. If we do work together, we keep your coaching records only for as long as we need to and we will tell you how long when we begin.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
- ask us to correct anything that is wrong
- ask us to delete your information
- ask us to limit how we use it, or object to how we use it
- withdraw your consent at any time
To do any of these, just get in touch using the details above. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would always be glad to put things right first.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
